According to Europe 1, mortar fire and thrown stones target CRS riot police near the Jean-Pierre-Timbaud lycée, “in response to tear gas fire” (translated); a Le Parisien journalist, quoted by a 5 October compilation, reportedly described the opposite order (gas in response to the mortars), but her article could not be read. No authority is quoted and no injured person is mentioned.
According to Europe 1, groups of young people, some masked, try to set up barricades on the road and set fire to pallets and traffic bollards near the lycée.

Established: recognised by a magistrate, a video authenticated by a news outlet, or a medical report. Alleged: reported, neither confirmed nor denied. Disputed: reported, then denied by an authority.
On Friday 2 October 2026, Europe 1 writes, in its 1:16 p.m. live coverage, that in Aubervilliers, near the Jean-Pierre-Timbaud lycée, high-school students and young people clash with law enforcement: mortar fire and thrown stones “in response to tear gas fire from the CRS” (translated), groups of young people, some of them masked, trying to set up barricades and setting fire to pallets and traffic bollards. The CRS riot police’s tear gas appears in the linked case.
A second Europe 1 article (03/10) mentions, in Aubervilliers, a barricade of pallets, metal barriers and tyres and a bin fire on avenue Jean-Jaurès; it does not name the lycée, so this link to the scene is not retained. The entry’s coordinates are those of the lycée, the exact area of the events not being specified.
The mortars of 28 September in front of the same lycée (a blockade during which a school head was injured) are a different scene, outside this entry.
